Lake Haven

There is a central neighborhood 8-acre lake with a community dock.

Welcome to Lake Haven

Lake Haven is nestled off of Freemanville Road just one mile north of Milton High School and close to downtown Milton/Crabapple Market as well as a five-minute easy drive to Downtown Alpharetta and ten minutes to Avalon. The neighborhood has 65 homes on varied topography, all lots with 1 acre+. There is a central neighborhood 8-acre lake with a community dock. Fish for bass or bluegill or kayak and canoe. There is also a nature trail that leads back to a large waterfall in a private tucked-away quarry-like space with a firepit. The neighborhood has a very active Facebook page as well as hosts a monthly ladies' night and bi-monthly book club. Welcome, Home!

The Union restaurant is just steps from Lake Haven, featuring the best menu in Milton in my opinion, and a fun bar to pull up a chair and meet your neighbors. Another favorite, Milton’s Cuisine & cocktails is just stepped in the other direction, a 150-year-old farmhouse restaurant (with outdoor dining & fireplaces) dishing out a locally sourced menu. Links to both are below.

The relaxed lake vibe and southern charm of the homes are what draw buyers to Lake Haven. Currently, a community dock is being built for all to access the lake more easily or just throw in a line to fish with the kids. Across from the dock, access is a trail to the community’s tucked-away waterfall and fire pit. Many homes have their pools and all others have large enough lots for building a pool but if you want to join a nearby pool/gym, many residents join White Columns Country Club, just moments up Freemanville Road. Just a few minutes to Downtown Milton, Downtown Alpharetta, Avalon, Downtown Roswell, North Point Mall, many great golf courses, Verizon Amphitheatre, Lake Windward, and Lake Lanier, as well as a large array of casual and fine dining.

The public schools are superior with Summit Hill Elementary, Northwestern Middle, and award-winning Milton High as well as easy proximity to some of the city’s top private schools. Kings Ridge, Alpharetta Christian Academy, St Francis, and Alpharetta International Academy are a few of the most popular private school options. Blessed Trinity and Fellowship are an easy drive as well.
